Steve Shnider is the senior director of Digital and Communication Experience in the Marketing & Communication business unit for NextEra Energy, Inc., one of the nation’s leading energy companies. Mr. Shnider is responsible for the digital customer experience, external digital properties and the digital customer communication platforms, including email, text and outbound voice.

Mr. Shnider joined FPL in 2004 and has held several positions in the Integrated Supply Chain, Customer Service and Marketing & Communication organizations. His leadership roles have included leading the marketing and digital experience teams for the enterprise. Mr. Shnider recently led the transformation of the digital customer experience including the launch of the fully mobile responsive FPL.com, integration of communication preferences and the FPL mobile app.

Mr. Shnider earned his Bachelor of Science degree in management information systems from the University of South Florida. He is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt and Champion Belt. Prior to joining FPL, Mr. Shnider was a manager in the strategic consulting group for KPMG Consulting.
