Michelle Pelletier

Michelle Pelletier is an experienced business attorney who spent more than a decade as in-house counsel at American Express before founding her own boutique law firm, Veriflow Legal Solutions, based in Miami, Florida. She works with businesses of all sizes, guiding them through commercial transactions and a variety of corporate matters with a practical, down-to-earth approach. Her primary focus currently is working as fractional General Counsel for Karta, a fintech startup in the payments space.

Michelle graduated summa cum laude from the Wilkes Honors College of Florida Atlantic University and magna cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law. She also earned an LL.M. in International Business Law from ESADE Law & Business School at the Universidad Ramon Llull in Barcelona, Spain.

A strong believer in the power of education and mentorship, Michelle credits her own success to the guidance of key mentors throughout her life. She had the opportunity to pay it forward and serve as a mentor herself as one of the first adjunct professors to teach Transactional Skills at the University of Miami School of Law when the program first launched and is returning to teaching in January 2026.

Michelle’s other interests include playing the violin, practicing and teaching yoga, and exploring the world through travel. She is fluent in both English and Spanish and enjoys connecting with people from all walks of life.
