Cristabel Yrina Farronay is a passionate educator, first-generation college graduate, and immigrant whose journey fuels her commitment to educational equity. As Program Coordinator at Path to College, she supports students in overcoming the very barriers she once faced - ensuring that every young person has the tools and confidence to pursue higher education.

Cristabel’s belief in the power of education began early. She completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) program at a public high school where many of her peers, like herself, came from families that valued education deeply but had limited experience navigating the U.S. college system. That personal journey shaped her mission: to make education not only accessible, but empowering.

With a Master’s degree in International Education Development from Columbia University, Cristabel has led educational programs both in the U.S. and abroad. From working with underserved youth in Peru to supporting early learning initiatives at Bezos Academy, her work has always centered on creating inclusive, joyful learning environments where students feel seen, capable, and inspired to grow.

Fluent in English and Spanish, with conversational proficiency in French, Cristabel brings a global lens and a deep cultural awareness to her work. Across every role, she remains driven by the belief that education is the most powerful tool for transforming lives and building a more just world
